Special Awards

Academy Trophy
The Academy Trophy is the most important award of the National Academy of Tailors. It is awarded to prominent figures from the business, institutional and entertainment worlds who embody some of the fundamental characteristics of Italian tailoring. This year we have identified three particular prerogatives: elegance, sobriety and consistency. These characteristics are perfectly represented by the life, political and otherwise, of Antonio Tajani, former President of the European Parliament and current Vice President of the European People's Party. For these reasons, we are honoured to present him with the 2021 Academy Trophy ”.
