National Contest
“Forbici D’Oro”
Director: Paolo Lentini
The “Forbici d’Oro” Award was instituted in 1951 by Mino Maestrelli in order to reward the Master tailors, who best interpreted the art of tailoring thanks to their technical ability, style sensitivity and manual skills.
The national competition “Forbici d'Oro” has reached its 74th anniversary, and after having seen as winners some protagonists of the national and international tailoring, it aims to continue to be a certificate of absolute excellence in the sector. This competition is reserved only for Italian tailors working in Italy or abroad.
